The "Nómades de Patagonia Route" is a special cruise done by the Skorpios company that takes place only a few times a year -the next departure on 23 April, 2026- to move the ship from Puerto Natales to Puerto Montt. During the crossing, the Southern Ice Field is visited with the Amalia, El Brujo and Pío XI glaciers, navigating through fjords and channels. It offers the possibility of getting to know the remote villages of Puerto Eden and Caleta Tortel and enjoying the Quitralco Hot Springs, too.
Itinerary

WEDNESDAY, 22 APRIL 2026 (Optional additional night before departure).
From 6:00 p.m. Reception of the passengers at the Skorpios Terminal in Puerto Natales. Includes dinner, accommodation on the ship and breakfast on the day of departure.

THURSDAY, 23 APRIL 2026
From 8:00 a.m. Reception of the passengers at the Skorpios Terminal. 11:00 a.m. Set sail from Puerto Natales. Navigation through Angostura Kirke and "Fiordo de las Montañas" towards the Bernal Glacier, arriving around 4:30 p.m. Disembarkation and walk to the Glacier. Water supply manoeuvre. 8:00 p.m. Set sail heading north navigating the Paso Morla Vicuña, Canal Unión, Estrecho Collingwood, Canal Sarmiento and Estero Peel.

FRIDAY, 24 APRIL2026
08:30 a.m. Arrival at the Amalia Glacier. Panoramic view from the ship. Disembarking. 10:30 a.m. Set sail to El Brujo Glacier. 12:30 p.m. Landfall at El Brujo Glacier. 3:00 p.m. Set sail to the Pío XI Glacier. In the afternoon and night, we navigate the Estero Peel and the channels Pitt, Tres Cerros, Concepción, Wide, Icy and Eyre Fjord.

SATURDAY, 25 ABRIL 2026
08:00 a.m. Arrival at Pío XI Glacier. The ship will pass in front of this colossus of ice, the largest glacier in South America. 11:00 a.m. Set sail from Pío XI Glacier to navigate Eyre Fjord, Grappler Channel and Paso del Indio, arriving at Puerto Edén at 3:30 p.m. Disembark and visit this fishing village located on Wellington Island, the cradle of the Kaweskar or Alacalufes ethnic group. 5:30 p.m. Set sail north to navigate through Angostura Inglesa, Canal Messier, towards Caleta Tortel.

SUNDAY, 26 APRIL 2026
9:00 a.m. Landfall in Caleta Tortel. Disembarkation in this small village that has 7 km of wooden walkways. 12:00 p.m. Set sail for the Termas de Quitralco. Start of navigation through the Gulf of Penas and the Pacific Ocean.

MONDAY, 27 APRIL 2026
08:00 a.m. End of open sea crossing and begin of channel navigation through Anna Pink Bay. 00:00 a.m. Arrival at Termas de Quitralco.

TUESDAY, 28 APRIL 2026
08:00 a.m. Berthed at the Quitralco pier. Thermal baths and boat rides on the inland waters of the fjord. Patagonian barbecue lunch. 5:00 p.m. Set sail for the city of Dalcahue in Chiloé.

WEDNESDAY, 29 APRIL 2026
4:30 p.m. Arrival in the city of Dalcahue. Disembarkation and visit of the town. Departure from Dalcahue at 8:00 p.m. At 9:00 p.m. Final farewell dinner.

THURSDAY, 30 MAY 2026
08:00 a.m. Arrival at the Skorpios Terminal in Puerto Montt. Breakfast and disembarkation. End of the Cruise.

Boat

This route is made by the vessel Skorpios III which has a maximum capacity of 110 passengers. It has wide decks, bars, lounges and dining rooms where you can share a nice time with other fellow travelers. It has a synchronized translation for the talks, a professional digital recording system and the broadcast of videos through internal channels.

Cabins
It has 49 fully equipped cabins with low beds, luxury and large bathrooms, fridge, music, internal phone, TV and safety boxes. The cabins are located on five decks, with prices depending on the kind of accommodation and where they are within the boat. All cabins have windows, but the ones in the Atenas deck.

The prices are per person in a double cabin. The price includes full-board, open bar during the meals and all the excursions in the program.
Note: There is an extra harbour embarking tax of US$ 78.
