It
is an option that combines the Laguna San Rafael visit with
accommodation at Puyuhuapi Lodge & Spa, certainly one
of the most attractive thermal centres in Chile, located in
a fjord which is only approachable by boat. The shortest program
includes two nights at the Lodge and a third one at a hotel
in Puerto Chacabuco or Coyhaique, on the way back from Laguna
San Rafael. The visit to the glacier is during the day and
is done in a modern catamaran.

| Itinerary |
The
passengers are picked up at the Airport Balmaceda and then
taken by bus to Puerto Chacabuco where they embark the catamaran
Patagonia Express which will take them to the Puyuhuapi Lodge
& Spa. The second day is to enjoy the thermal springs
and/or make excursions in the surroundigs. Very early on day
3 the passengers embark again the catamaran, but this time
the trip is to Laguna San Rafael, arriving there just after
lunch. Finally the trip takes them back to Puerto Chacabuco
to stay overnight there or at Coyhaique. The transfer to the
airport is made on the following day.

The
programs that include a visit to Laguna San Rafael are made
between October and late April; other programs are done all
year round. The program mentioned above lasts 4 days/3 nights
and starts on Saturdays and Tuesdays. |

The
navigation between Puerto Chacabuco, Puyuhuapi
Lodge & Spa y Laguna San Rafael is made in a modern
and fast catamaran. Its design allows a comfortable navigation
admiring an impressive landscape, and enjoying the excellent
and warm service on board. With a capacity of about 70 passengers
and reaching a speed up to 25 knots, the catamaran Patagonia
Express is a comfortable alternative to visit the Patagonian
fjords of Southern Chile. |

catamaran doesn't have any cabins, the lodging is at a cozy
hotel with a thermal centre.>

Prices
in US-Dollars
The
prices are per person and include all overland transfers,
navigation in a catamaran, accommodation at the Puyuhuapi
Lodge & Spa, use of the spa facilities and outdoor thermal
pools, scheduled excursions and full board with wine and beverages
during the meals.
The rates don't include taxes on acccommodation (IVA). Foreigners
who are not residents of Chile don't pay this tax. |
